This website is intended to facilitate the understanding and accessibility of the information compiled under the Co-operative Programme for Monitoring and Evaluation of the Long-range Transmission of Air Pollutants in Europe (EMEP). The operational objectives and needs of the programme are presented here together with updated EMEP data on the European regional air quality concerning acidification, eutrophication, ground level ozone, heavy metals, persistent organic compounds and atmospheric particles. After a couple of weeks with limited access to the EMEP data, the model results are available again. We hope that all problems with the data retrieval are fixed. Please send us a feedback if you still experience any difficulties with accessing the EMEP model results. |

New model calculations have been performed with corrected emission data for 2007. Corrected country reports, source-receptor tables and evaluation of the EMEP Unified model performance are now available along with updated downloadable model results for 2007. |

A mistake has been found in the gridding of emissions for Croatia for 2007, affecting model calculations for acidifying and eutrophying compounds as well as ozone (Status Report 1/2009 and Country Data notes 2009). Nordic countries and neighbor countries of Croatia are most affected. Corrected model results, country reports and source-receptor tables for 2007 will be available by 4th of September. |
